Damn Good Rope Company Jute Rope

The rope for serious players! This Jute Rope from Damn Good Rope Company is hand spun using Grade A Tossa Jute with a medium lay. Medium lay is a good balance between pliability and longevity. Jute has a little bit of stretch, great bite, and holds knots very well. It is inherently scratchy, but gets softer with use. Each rope is made with care and attention to detail in a rope shop in Massachusetts.

The yarn is dyed before being spun into rope, so the rope is dyed completely through to the center. It is also conditioned, the highest level of finishing, making it ready to use directly out of the box. The rope was broken and singed, massaged with a light coating of beeswax and oil, then baked in an oven. Due to the beeswax conditioning, this rope is not vegan. Damn Good Rope Company's Hemp Rope, however, is vegan.

Rope measures 30 feet long and 6mm diameter. Perfect for Shibari and all types of rope bondage. All rope comes standard with overhand knots. This rope does NOT have whipped ends.
