When we find ourselves thoroughly infatuated with a new partner, often we're so excited to get to the main action that we tragically overlook an opportunity for a little old-school seduction. Likewise, if your seasoned relationship has begun to feel stale, you may be scrambling to once again rev up your partner's engine.
Do you wish you could gracefully navigate and elongate those moments between being fully dressed and completely nude? Has a partner suggested you "dance" for them, and you were confused by what they meant? Did you scratch your head through Showgirls or Flashdance wondering how they make stripping look so effortless?
Join Andrew Shakti, stripper and professional slut, for this intro to erotic dance. By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Approach erotic dance as an internal process first and an external process second
- Absorb tips and tricks for negotiation, costuming, roleplaying, and harnessing confidence
- Execute some sizzling choreography to help incorporate erotic dance into your sexual repertoire!
Andre Shakti (she/her) is a queer cis yt sex educator, columnist and professional slut living in Baltimore, MD. She wrestles mediocre men into submission and is the reigning polyamory pundit at her non-monogamy advice column "I Am Poly(amorous) & So Can You!" She also helms SANCTUARY Virtual Strip Club, bringing LGBTQ+ dirty digital delights to private screens. She strips, she whips, and she likes dogs more than you.
You'll notice that we're offering two class cost options - $25, the regular cost of a She Bop class or workshop, and $15, a reduced cost option. While we want to make sure our instructors are compensated fairly for their hard work, we recognize that many of our community members are experiencing alterations to their finances at this time. If you are able to pay full price, we ask that you please consider doing so. If the lower cost option is a more accessible fit for you at this time, we encourage you to utilize that option.
