This class will be held LIVE online via Zoom — Zoom links are sent out 3 days prior and then again 3 hours prior to class. If you sign up within 3 days, please be patient in waiting for the final reminder email, which will be sent out 3 hours prior to the class.
The class will NOT be recorded. Registration deadline: 3 hours prior to class PST. No day-of cancellations.

Are you a budding sex educator or sex coach who has always wanted to lead a class or discussion, but don't know how to find attendees or venues? Already in the field, but wanting to expand your reach or improve your skills? If you're ready to invest in your future and your community, come join Amory Jane for Sex Educator Night School!
In this 2.5-hour workshop, we will focus on developing and structuring classes as well as finding sponsorships/collaborators and learning how to make money in sex ed. Bring your ideas and goals, even if they're still in the early stages!
You'll learn the art of teaching and public speaking, and how organizational skills can take your classes and events to the next level. You'll also get advice on how and where to pitch your workshops, how to work specifically with She Bop (from our Education Coordinator, Davina!), and find your own unique voice in the world of sex education and content creation. If you want, you will even get a chance to teach a mini lesson on the topic of your choice (in breakout groups).
Amory Jane (she/they) is a Sex Educator and award-winning Sex-Positive Event Producer who has worked at She Bop for over a decade. She has taught hundreds of sex and relationship workshops around the country and has been featured on Fusion TV, the BBC, Savage Lovecast, and in Playboy Magazine. AJ is a chronic pain babe, mom, and plant medicine advocate who dreams of a world with less suffering and more pleasure.
She Bop recognizes sex education is a field that disproportionately gives attention to white, cisgender, able-bodied educators. To help expand the field and have more voices heard, we are making this a sliding scale workshop for those who cannot pay the full price of $50 per class. We are also offering 2 full scholarships for folks from underrepresented backgrounds. POC, disabled, trans, and non-binary attendees are especially encouraged to apply/attend!
Due to our commitment to paying educators fairly, all classes are excluded from sales and discounts.
