Your body needs and deserves touch that isn't goal oriented! It's your right as a sexual being to receive that physical love, and the best giver is YOU! Let's energetically and physically clear some of the stagnant energy in our sexual centers while utilizing self-pleasure as the main tool. In this class we start with some basic anatomy to learn the scientific names of our delicious bits. We'll do mirror and meditation work to deeply connect with the vulva/yoni to clear any old, negative beliefs connected to our sex organs. Then we move on to the amazing benefits of breast/chest massage and vulva massage. Participants will learn techniques and tips on how to connect to their body in deeply honoring and pleasurable ways. This class is a wonderful way to take the focus off pleasure of orgasm and penetration/insertion, and bring the focus back to sensual, embodied touch. Each person is welcome to participate at whatever level feels comfortable to them in this class.
Andrea Thompson is a native Oregonian, and has been practicing Massage Therapy in the Portland area for over 20 years. In her practice, she specializes in modalities that bring a deep sense of awareness to her clients' bodies while tapping into their inherent healing capabilities. Although she enjoys working with all ages and genders, her main focus is working with people with vulvas to assist them in the process of attaining healthy menses and conception, as well as aiding them through the physical changes of pregnancy. You'll notice that we're offering two class cost options - $25, the regular cost of a She Bop class or workshop, and $15, a reduced cost option. While we want to make sure our instructors are compensated fairly for their hard work, we recognize that many of our community members are experiencing alterations to their finances at this time. If you are able to pay full price, we ask that you please consider doing so. If the lower cost option is a more accessible fit for you at this time, we encourage you to utilize that option.
