How do people create nontraditional partnerships that are loving and satisfying? In this class, Tristan Taormino will share some of the key principles that can help your open relationship(s) succeed. She'll discuss common issues and problems — from "new relationship energy" and time management to jealousy, power dynamics, and agreement violations — and ways to address and work toward resolving them. Tristan will offer tips on communication, negotiation, and boundary setting, as well as how to cope with change. Learn how to get to the root of jealous feelings and even transform them by embracing the concept of compersion. Whether you're a newcomer or veteran to the world beyond monogamy, come discover strategies to help you nurture and grow your open relationship(s).

Tristan Taormino is an award-winning sex educator, media maker, and speaker. She is the author of eight books and editor or co-editor of 25 anthologies including The Ultimate Guide to Anal Sex for Women and The Ultimate Guide to Kink. She has directed and produced over two dozen sex education and adult films. She keynotes, lectures, and teaches workshops around the world on sexual pleasure and health, relationships, and social justice. She is the host of the long running podcast Sex Out Loud.

You'll notice that we're offering two class cost options - $25, the regular cost of a She Bop class or workshop, and $15, a reduced cost option. While we want to make sure our instructors are compensated fairly for their hard work, we recognize that many of our community members are experiencing alterations to their finances at this time. If you are able to pay full price, we ask that you please consider doing so. If the lower cost option is a more accessible fit for you at this time, we encourage you to utilize that option.
