As many as 75% of people with vaginas will experience pain during penetrative sex at some point in their lives. For 1 in 5 people, this is not an isolated incident, but a persistent problem with detrimental effects on mental and physical health. If inserting a tampon, having sex, or going to the OBGYN is painful or physically impossible for you, it is not "all in your head" and you don't need to "just relax," HelloGina can help. HelloGina is an online self-guided program that functions as a sex coach, therapist, and personal trainer – all wrapped into one. It was shown to produce a significant reduction in genital pain and improvements in overall sexual satisfaction in two studies.

In this one-hour workshop, Charlotte Kirchhoff, co-developer of HelloGina, will answer all your questions about painful insertion or penetrative sex. Participants will be able to ask questions anonymously through Zoom to provide a safe and welcoming environment. We will start by providing a detailed overview of who this issue affects, and why it happens. Then, we will summarize the different diagnoses and treatment methods as well as how to access them. Finally, we will open the floor for questions and finish with a meditation.

Charlotte Kirchoff is a psychotherapist in training and HelloGina's head coach. She co-developed HelloGina alongside Anna-Carlotta Zarski, an award-winning psychologist and researcher. Charlotte oversees all HelloGina coaches, sometimes also serving as one. She is passionate about the topic of self-determined sexuality.

Due to our commitment to paying educators fairly, all classes are excluded from sales and discounts.
